Sauter has tough luck at LaCrosse

Travis Sauter and team traveled the short trip to LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway on July 3 for the non-points ASA Midwest Tour Summer Shootout. After waiting out numerous rain showers, Travis qualified in the 3rd position. After more rain officials decided to start all 36 cars on hand for the event. Starting in 11th position Travis hung around 8th for most of the opening laps. On lap 53 of the 100 lap event, Travis was unable to avoid a crash in front of him and was relegated to the pits with front end damage. He finished 16th. "Qualifying went well", stated Travis. " We were way to loose of the corner to contend for a win, but we could have finished in the top 5. I didn't see the wreck start, we were in heavy traffic there. That kind of stuff happens once in a while, we'll fix it and move on.
