Travis takes 12th at the Milwaukee Mile

Travis Sauter took advantage of the long break in between races on the ASA Midwest tour schedule, and made the trip to the Milwaukee Mile for the ASA Late Model Series Jani-King 150. After starting deep in the field Travis progressed into the top 20 by the lap 75 break. At the break the crew made significant adjustments and Travis was able to work his way further through the field in the second half of the race, finishing in 12th position. "It was a frustrating weekend for the most part, it is tough when you are used to running a different series and you come to one race expecting to win. The rules are quite a bit different, so our regular Midwest Tour package really would not work here. We got better every time we hit the track, but we were behind all weekend. As far as the race goes, we passed a bunch of cars early, then I got really tight before the break. The changes they made helped to car turn a lot better, especially later in the run. As frustrating as it was, the Milwaukee Mile means a lot to me and it was great to get the opportunity to race there. I need to especially thank Bob & Lori Dominiczak for their help, we wouldn't have been able to race without them. For our first time there I guess it wasn't too bad, but I can't wait to get another shot at it.
