Marshfield Race Report

Travis raced the Wisconsin Challenge Series race at Marshfield on Saturday June 13th.  He struggled most of the day with the handling of the car and qualified 16th. After making numerous changes he won his heat race and started the feature in 16th.  He moved up  a few positions in the first 5 laps before he was forced out fo the race with a broken A-frame.
"I've had better days at the race track for sure. The car was not very good in practice, maybe due to the fact that our tires were from last year.  We over adjusted a little bit for qualifying and then we got it right for the heat race an drove away with that.  I think we had a top 5 car in the race, but things break sometimes. Every time on the track I got better at driving this place, and that helped as much as our adjustments did.  It was disappointing to be out so early, but I enjoyed the day.  Marshfield is a lot of fun and I look forward to going back.  Thanks to Cranberry Creek Cranberries, Jay VanDerGeest Cattle, and Wayne Brevik for their help to run this race."
