North American Cup Report

Travis ran the North American Cup 100 Wisconsin Challenge Series event at Dells Raceway Park on July 4th. He qualifed 12th for the race out of more than 40 cars. At the start of the race he quickly moved through the field was up to 3rd at lap 70 when the caution flew. As they went back green Travis reported a flat tire and faded through the field and finally pulled off the track. It turned outthat he had run over some debris and both right side tires were going flat. He finished a disappointing 17th.

"We are on a streak of bad luck right now. We had a winning car. The 99 was fast, but I know I had something for him. We are going to come back in 2 weeks for the ASA race and try again. Our stuff is really fast, especially on the smaller tracks. We dont have the motor to run the half miles, but we are strong here. If we can get some decent luck, we will win some races. I dont know what else to say. The fans enjoyed the race and its fun to race with dad and Johnny. We are just going to keep digging and see what happens."
